Just introducing myself. Bought this techno marvel yesterday. My previous car was a Sonata 2006. So you know why I am calling this a techno marvel. It will be mine for the next decade or 2. The journey begins...

Two weeks and I am totally in love with this car. First, EV range is close to 42 km. That too in Power mode. Second, I dont understand why people complain that this is a slow car. In my hands, in Power mode, this car is peppy! I am satisfied. I dont want to win any races. I can drive safely in my town with the acceleration that this car can achieve. Third, I am not too particular about when the HV sets in, but I just noticed that in the EV mode if I turn on the 'Front defrost' then the engine kicks in. Fourth, I dont know the mechanism of the heater but recently in a -20 weather the car took less than 3 minutes of driving to warm up the cabin. That is fantastic! These are a few points I noted so far. Awesome car!!

They did an amazing job with this car. The engine coolant gets warmed by the catalytic converter, so it warms the engine in a big hurry, and the cabin gets a similar benefit.

I'm in my sixth day with my slightly used '17 Premium and I am still gobsmacked by it.
