stay calm , lol ... two different cars for different needs .. if i had 3 kids to drive around town i would have picked the Clarity but I do not need that much space. The Clarity is a bigger car ....not in the same league. Now find the direct competitor of the Prime : Hyundai Ioniq PHEV in the chart ... and laugh. Up here in the North , The Prime is selling like little cupcakes , the roads are invaded not as much as the Corolla but still ...
I think I only saw maybe one Prime in my area. The dealers don't even stock them anymore. I need to check my local dealers. Between two dealers they have four regular Prius and no Prime.
Same here except I live in the small midwestern town just west of you. Chicago. In the 7 mos I've been a Prime owner I've actually have seen 1 Prime on I-94 north of town and an ex-coworker has one. If I do an Inventory Search on the Toyota web site I can't even select a 2019 Prime as it's not even offered. If I increase the search to 2018 Primes I see one and only one in all of Chicagoland. Maybe it's the massive rebates/incentives they offer around here. Like in ZERO. With all that said I (for one) still like mine. J
No dealer has ever stocked the Prime in South Carolina as far as I know, i had to order mine and pay full MSRP to get it. SE Toyota edict...
The day I bought my 2016 the dealer had two primes and I haven't seen one there since. My wife wanted the black Prius and the rest is history.
