My 2013 has the brake, anti lock and ABS lights on. OBD says rr wheel anti lock sensor error, can't reset. I replaced this one 25k or so ago and just had my recall software updated and a new gel battery. Bad wheel bearing?

It's easy to read a little too much into the diagnostic codes. The computer in the car isn't all-seeing and all-knowing, so when it sets a code having to do with a sensor, that doesn't always mean the problem is in the sensor. It means the computer is suspicious of the reading it gets from the sensor, and that reading has to get from the sensor, through the wire harness and connectors, all the way to the computer input. It's up to the human to figure out where the actual problem is in that path. There will be helpful troubleshooting steps in the repair manual where that code is discussed.

Doubt it’s a bearing. I had one fail a couple years ago. No codes....just felt the drag, and noticeable MPG drop.
    Easy fix in my garage.

Thank you all for the input. I will check the manuel and the connection. I also need back brakes anyway so it will be an easy fix if it is the connector.

A visual inspection at the sensor and wiring where it is exposed to the harsh environment where it lives is a good starting point.

For information: did the bearing either “howl” or generate grinding noises or any kind of roughness as it was failing?

Bearing isn't making any sound, I was thinking it was the internal sensor that was kicking the dash lights.

I drove it for a few months before repairing it....and on the last week or so it was humming

Has anyone ever replaced the plug that attaches the bearing? The one I ordered has a connector and I couldn't see where that connector was?

You can solder it directly and silicone

What about using straight wire connectors and heat shrink?

Post a picture if you can. You'd almost need a macro lens though, pretty tiny. Those connectors are a pain, very difficult to pull off, and breakage prone.

I was talking about the wires not the pins.

Here is where the ABS wire harness connects on the right side that I had to replace. All fixed.
