Since i saw the new Prius 2019 e-AWD gettting USB ports at the rear on the armrest i decided to do the same. It was easier than i thought , you just need to pull the rear panel and it come off. There is a lot of room behind the panel so you just need to make a hole to fit your USB ports and run 2 wires tap the power from the '' round'' 12V plug. I use the 12V to power a Dashcam but now i have 2 extra charging port for the rear passengers. I suggest to use a multi-meter to make sure that the polarity is right. in my case the green is the Positive and the white& black was the negative.
