so my budget isn’t ridiculous, but I’m looking for US OEM LED or HID headlight assembly LH and RH for my 2014 Prius. It was stock halogen that are still installed and working. I’m willing to trade my stock lights with cash show me what you got! Also if you’re trading your car in or parting it out I’m in Dallas TX 75252 looking, but patient.
You don't want jdm headlights. They drive on the other side of the road so the beams are reversed (one side higher than the other). Also I believe they lack the amber side marker. iPhone ?
Also I guess I forgot to mention there are only halogen or LED lights for gen 3. HID was gen 2. iPhone ?
Just putting my thoughts out there. I look to buy led bulbs to fit in my standard headlight housing. I understand and realize the reflectors in the standard housing are made for halogens but if you look carefully there are LEDs out there that are engineered very similar to halogen filaments, just throwing it out there.
I tried one such unit, it was not as bright as HID in the halogen housing. In my case it was a projector housing. I was having issues with the HID not lighting in extreme cold and the LEDs I tried to replace them with were not satisfactory. iPhone ?
I bought HIDs from The Retrofit Source, Morimoto brand. I also bought LEDs from XenonDepot in Canada. But beware, they don't let you return them if they are used or installed in any way. iPhone ?
