New Cabin Air Filter, Blower motor service, and Engine Filter

You could buy one then compare it to the Toyota one. That’s what I did with my Aisin clutch plate. Exact same part.
That would require work on your part though.

And where did you get 30 dollars from? I can get an air filter for 14.36 + tax and a cabin filter for 15.09 + tax on the way home at the dealer today.

If the numbers are the same it does. In fact for the Aisin water pump for my 4 runner they grind off the Toyota name but you can still see part of it. Why do you even post here? You know near nothing about cars.

Patrick just s a quick left turn. You know a place where I can get a front bumper for 2018 Prius 2 model #1223A? or whatever you call it bumper shell? Its factory color blizzard pearl. I need to replace it. If you know where I can get the bumper that's painted. I don't know if aftermarket will fit like a glove. Basically I want to get it done the right way.

I always make my own cabin filter from regular home a/c filter elements. It works well and is also very economical.

 

Interesting. Doing something like that never crossed my mind.

Is there a reason why you chose the home HVAC filters w/ the wires? Did you try HVAC filters w/o the wires, but they became problematic and got sucked into the blower motor, or something like that?

 

There is no reason at all. I just happen to have these filters on hand. These wires seem to be real strong and will not come apart from the filter elements.

 

I have purchased these:

2 Pack - EPAuto CP285 (CF10285)...

EPAuto GP741 (CA10741)...

I live in the countryside and have rodents too. You replace the filters more often, due to the rodents. Mike don’t like fabric softener dryer sheets. I put one in my lower glove box and they don't come around as often.
To get the blowout motor unmounted, I use a finger ratchet wheel for getting to the mounting screws.

Leave fabric softener dryer sheets in the glove box, under the front seats, under the rear seat, in the rear cargo area, and any other place you see tracks.

I don’t have rodents.

 

Take off the wipers and cowl, install a 1/4" mesh grill (galvanized steel rodent/bird mesh, available at any hardware store) over the cabin air intake. Put the same over the engine air intake too; I've read they'll take up residence in the air box as well.
