Trying to see how many high mileage Gen 4 Prius owners out there. I'm close to 195,000 miles (I'm the original owner). Anyone with higher mileage out there?
From reading posts since Gen 4 was released - I suspect you might have the jackpot. I'm only 40,000km.

I thought ATHiker was leading the pack at just over 100K miles. You definitely won from what I saw on the forums here. I am just coming up at 50k miles. Please share anything you had done to your car other than oil changes maintenance wise, I'm sure most of us would like to hear the repairs you have had done.
I suspect the battery should be fine - I'm interested in the brakes. A lot of miles means a lot of stopping, I presume. @Asmar - do you have a MPG average for your 195,000miles? There could well be some non-PriusChat members with higher miles - possibly TAXIs?
2013 Prius Persona SE 166,000 miles, 47 mpg avg. However, that goes along with a 2008 Scion xB at 224,000 miles, @ about 26 mpg. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.

It's been the most reliable car I've ever owned. I haven't done any of the maintenance that Toyota recommends/requires to get done on time. The ONLY "maintenance" I've done is changing the spark plugs and replacing the coolant (normal coolant and HV coolant) at 150,000 miles. Fuel economy used to constantly be 60-65 MPG (believe it or not) up until 120,000 miles or so. After 120,000 (approximately) miles it started shifting towards 55-60 MPG, basically what it's rated on the window sticker. This is with 50/50 (city/freeway) driving, too. Used Amsoil ONLY since car was brand new, oil level is always at the "full" line on the dipstick even after the full 10,000 mile interval (I check to make sure it didn't consume any oil before getting an oil change). Everything on the car works like new still, no complaints. Please read the response above. Thanks! It's holding up great. Still getting the MPG I'm supposed to. Brakes still have 4mm to 5mm of pad life left. 0-120,000 miles the car was averaging 60-65 MPG, 120,000 miles to current (195,000+) it's averaging 55-60 MPG. I don't think even taxi drivers have put nearly 200,000 miles on a gen 4 Prius yet. I say this because I've taken my Prius for oil changes at 5-6 different Toyota dealerships in my area and they said they do oil changes on Prius' that are used as taxis and mine is still the highest mileage 2016+ Prius that they've seen. I was hoping to see more 200,000+ mileage gen 4 Prius' somewhere else in the country to see if others had the car be basically maintenance-free like I did. I know it sounds stupid but I always tell people that the car is too reliable. I've never owned a more reliable car.
2010 Prius, 130k miles, 52 mpg average. No special maintenance, but oil is beginning to seep out of the engine timing cover. The traction battery has basically no capacity. Surprisingly, this only reduces mileage by a few MPG.
Don’t forget this is a Gen4 thread. But sort of on the topic: Are you the original owner, and is the car a California car for its entire life? If so, as you crest 10 years or 150 k miles and want to care for the hv battery, consider the Prolong equipment sold by hybrid Automotive as it works to restore the traction battery. I share the setup with 2 other members out here (we each have a harness) and it works well while keeping the ownership cost low. Something to consider for your situation based on your observation .
Would it still be under the TOYOTA warranty? The battery isn't the only reason for good economy - there is the Atkinson cycle engine, the stop/start, the aerodynamic body - etc. On a day's driving, what EV% does it still display?
76000Miles and so far 12v Battery and EGR valve has been replaced under warranty. Front discs and pads needs replacing soon. I did 1300miles round trip from London to Nuremberg on cruise control and got 61.1MPG. Outside Temperature was between 0 and 3degree celsius.
2010’s don’t have a %EV display. The California battery warranty is 10 years or 150 k miles, whichever comes first. I average 48mpg currently with the “winter blend” employed on the best coast. So if you compare the Prius to the corolla which also uses the 1.8 L platform at the rated 35 mpg, thats about 37% better.
Only if Hybrid Automotive makes a harness for Gen 4 Prius AND makes a Li-Ion charger & discharger. Are you asking this user to be their "lab rat" ? Not everybody has tour "inside connections" with them. EDIT Assuming you were referring to the OP of this thread to be on topic
