I have a an 05' Toyota Prius, and an 08' Toyota Camry, with 205k and 90k miles respectivley. They both don't run. The Prius' fuel injectors are kaput, and the Camry's engine is too. What I'm wondering is if there's anyway I can Frankenstein the two cars together to create one working car.
I have a set for the Prius (can't help with the Camry) as part of yr very own PriusChat Gen 1/2 injector exchange.... -Chap
Is there current information on the injector exchange experiment? I have an "05 that could use a re-manufactured set.
I think I saw this too late for Robert, but yes, I still have the restored OEM injectors from the last time around (the ones with this test report). My cost was $83 IIRC. They've been on the shelf 4½ years now, so I'd have to check and make sure all four still click before passing them on. (Rich sends them back protected with a non-corroding lube, but it might have turned sticky in that amount of time on the shelf; it's really intended to protect them until they are back in the car working.)

Welp, that may be the end of the PriusChat injector exchange ... I can't really picture Rich agreeing to match that price. With postage, it's about that much for him to do one. I wonder who is reconditioning these?
