Just understand by running the engine so infrequently you are entering uncharted territory as far as engine life is concerned. I don't think any manufacturer has adequately tested the effects on an engine that runs so rarely. With the gas mileage the prime gets, I follow Toyota's advice of running the engine on the highway and using the electric mode in the city. YMMV. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
