So I’m not sure where to look. I need replacement windows (as marked in the picture/random stock photo) both windows have deep scratches in them. Unfortunately I didn’t notice them til after the fact when I bought it from the dealership and they wouldn’t do anything about it.
My insurance company won’t cover it...and safelite quoted nearly $600. For a scratch that’s as thin as a penny. The scratch goes straight across. I didn’t notice it until after I drove away from the Toyota dealership. They wouldn’t do anything about it. The jerks actually covered it up with the sale sticker. So I had no way of seeing them unless i peeled off the sticker upon my test drive.
Talk to the general manager at the dealership, you're probably just talking to the wrong person. Keep escalating the issue until you talk to the right person, all the way up to the dealership owner
Well that was an important detail. Comprehensive insurance should cover it, you just have to pay your deductible. The rear door window is easier to find used and installation is easy. The little tiny window I would just leave alone, you're the only one that will know it's scratched
Contact Prius hybrids sales and service Scottsburg Indiana in Indiana and see if the cost shipped is reasonable. They strike me as part that may be available after they typical wreck totals the car and it goes to the salvage yard. They specialize in Prius.

I spoke with the shop via email. I thought things were going to work out. I've been waiting days for them to send me an invoice for an order that they promised. So I ended up finding the part on ebay for about $40 cheaper.
