When I first bought my standard 2011 Prius US used the touch screen didn't work and they replaced the GPS stereo CD changer assembly. When I try to access vehicle settings the only option is a maintenance log. Is there perhaps a cable that goes between the entertainment system and the ecu that wasn't plugged in? Please let me know.
You need techstream installed on a pc device connected the car obd port. You can access vehicle settings that way.
Settings like automatically locking the doors when putting the vehicle in drive, dimming dash lights with headlights turned off, turning off the piezo chirper
On my 2014 Prius V I was surprised to see some vehicle settings through the touch screen. But no reverse or seat belt beep option to turn off. Just one click to unlock all doors. How long to leave the lights on after car off.
That became available in 2012 facelift so Techstream or Carista are the only sources to use to change settings.
