Prius in the Movies and Television

I remember my sister told me that she was watching an old episode of the show Gilmore Girls. Apparently the girl who goes to college in that show (sorry, I don't know the names) gets a first generation Prius as a gift from her grandfather.

 

I could've sworn I saw a prius in an episode of 24.

 

Larry David drives one on Curb Your Enthusiasm - I know that's been mentioned on this site before (as well as the South Park episode).

I saw that one too... just didn't remember it until you mentioned it. I think Chloe (is that her name? I'm pretty horrible with names as you all can see) owns one in the TV show.

 

Saw an old "Without A Trace" last week where "person of interest" drives away in a Prius. Store clerk even tells FBI it was a Prius.

I'm a new viewer of this series. I kept hearing how great it is so we started renting it from season one. We just finished the seond season and saw only the first episode of the third season. the series is a bit flawed and i cannot tolerate the drama that the daughter (she certainly didn't get jack's intelligence or street smarts!) serves but it certainly is entertaining and jack rocks! i loved his character development during the second season. i haven't seen any characters driving a prius. the one i believed to be a prius was in the backdrop driving down the street.

Yes, the Classic Prius makes an appearance on a regular basis there... many, many episodes.

 

"Little Miss Sunshine"

I don't recall the exact scene, but there was a scene shot in a parking lot, and a Prius was in one of the parking spaces. Perhaps it was toward the end of the movie in the parking lot of the hotel hosting the pagent, but I can't be sure.

 

The final scene of the final episode of "Six Feet Under" has Claire driving a Blue Prius California to New York. (The Series ends before she gets out of the desert)

 

I saw a blue Prius 3-4 times in the traffic light scenes of The 40 Year Old Virgin

 

Nancy in the Showtime series "Weeds" bought a Seaside '06 in the latest episode.

My daughter and I watch Ghost Whisperer. We have a contest who can spot the prius first. She wins most of the time. In the first season there was at least one in every show. Most of the time it is silver. I didn't see one last week.

 

I thought I saw one in the last episode of Eureka last night. It was the "future sheriff's" new car. It was white.
