45k miles recommendations from dealership

    My dealership recommended these:
    * Perform brake system fluid exchange
    * Clean fuel injection system
    * Clean air induction system (includes throttle body)

    Seeking opinions in this forum.

    toyota prius maintenance schedule 45k:

    cabin filter, check/clean/replace

    rotate tires

    check a billion unnecessary things

    my only extra recommendation: tranny fluid, if you haven't yet and find a new dealer

    Thanks! I learned a lot from the recommendation on tranny fluid as I searched online on what "lifetime" means. The powertrain is under warranty until 60k. Is there an issue if I replace it now? Has anybody been successful in getting the dealer to change it?

    no issue. many do every 30k. dealer for free? always worth a try
