Well, based on the rave reviews of Ehrlich, I ordered one from them as well. $1000 refundable deposit. They say I might get lucky and get exactly what I wanted on this allocation as the others on the wait list (7 in front of me) are looking mostly for package 4. It was nice that they just asked "what do you want" instead of "what are you willing to take." Fingers crossed.
And then later in the day i get a call saying a red #6 will be in in mid-Sept. I'd take that. I'm growing to like the red.

Got it. No monkey business. They didn't give me what I wanted on my 02 Highlander, but I expected that, I'll just sell it myself. Overall pretty smooth. EDIT: and by the way, Ehrlich promptly refunded my $1000 deposit.
