Hi all, I sheared off the rear fluid washer nozzle while scraping ice off the rear window. I saw that basically you need to remove the inside trunk panel int he area and then remove the broken nozzle and attach to a hose in there. Is this the piece I need to buy or do you need to buy something else? Or should I look first? For 08 09 Toyota Prius Windshield Washer Fluid Nozzle Spray Jet Sprayer 2PCS | eBay
not sure if the rear is the same as the front. if it were me, i wouold start with the dealer, get the price and part number, then do my shopping.
My wife's '07 has a one piece assembly above the middle of the back windshield with 2 nozzles. The Ebay one you show says 2 pieces and doesn't say rear, but it does look like it might fit.
It looks like the front ones so I think that's why its sold as a pair as a generic part. Still love this prius community. I dont' think I can drive another car because I know these cars pretty well through this process!

Upon further review, the piece from ebay won't work as you need the nozzle to fit into the pipe at a 90 degree angle and I'm not sure there is enough slack to make it work otherwise. The OEM part is $25 (Yikes), I am going to try glue as stated by Medel Leisk.
Glue rarely works when it comes to plastics. good luck though. Is that OEM price at the local dealer or an Online discount like Toyota parts direct where prices are advertised 30-40% off MSRP? iPhone X ?
Toyota part #8539147010 Did a quick google search and found it for $14.50 from AutoNation Toyota in Austin. Try a local dealer, see if they will price match. You will probably never clean that rear glass the same way again after having to replace that darn thing.
I think I'm going to glue it and not use it. I don't really even find it that useful to begin with. $15 is too rich for me to spend on that feature. There was a used piece on Ebay for $11 with the small plastic extension tubing. You ahv to put something there or otherwise rain will get into that area.
I would spring for the part. $15? Or glue it in such a way it's still functional. But I'm kinda OCD, lol.
I glued it, it works fine and even is functional. Its a 12 year old car, I think I'll stick with the Krazy Glue Hack for now. I also have a piece of duct tape over my melted trunk hatch plastic.
If 15 dollars is too much how about a junkyard? Just remember new plastic is stronger than 11 year old plastic.
To each his own. And I get that it's a 13 model year old vehicle. BUT... If I get to the point where a $15 dollar investment into making what is essentially on one level a safety feature whole, is too much to spend? Check my pulse. Crazy Glue is what $3.00 a tube, and usually you can only use it once because the cap becomes permanently crazy glued shut. That means it's really only a $12.00 investment into having the piece be new.
