2005 Prius , car ran great, code said I needed to change ignition coils. Changed coils and spark plugs. Car will start and run when I give it gas. But now it looks as if the battery isn’t charged. Any help with what might be wrong .
How many miles on your Prius? Any reason you changed the coils? What code was being displayed? If you give it gas, the battery isn’t charging? Does the car get to “ready”?
She had a miss. 246000 miles. She s running fine now after changing the coils and plugs. Another thing I didn’t know with a hybrid is that when at a red light it sounds like it cut off but it really doesn’t.. learning new things every day. But loving my Prius
it actually does start and stop the engine hundreds and thousands of times while driving, coasting, stopping, etc.
