Same fer us with our Elantra, but the front corner bumper was caved in.....AND no note was left. I was miffed, but no more than that. My mechanic worked with some heat & got it to pop back out without any plastic or paint cracking!!! He straightened some attachments, & it looks OK to good. Hey, its an Elantra. He charged $250. No fiddling with the Insurance company.
"don'T rump" & re-pubic-lick-uns believe "sigh-ants" & get paid lots of money, NOT to believe you. You keep showing the science.
Perhaps once Tesla has some manufacturing capability outside of California, they can implement sturdier (more corrosive, just a fact of life) paints.
Wow, it looks like I have to make an ejection from this forum as soon as I arrived. Those are talking points. CO2 isn't a poison. Pesticides and carcinogenic chemical expulsion is a separate issue entirely, and the worldwide insect reduction is much more likely to be related to said toxins. Lithium mining is also not without its carcinogenic side effects, and we're going to need a lot of it. After the left finishes off killing society, the earth will take care of itself. Unfortunately, as a member of the non-elite, I won't be able to descend into any bunker or escape to mars. Nice knowing, ya'll. Love my Tesla, hate some of its dogmatic ideological pushiness, which does nothing to increase the ranks.
Oh boy, in high enough concentrations, CO2 is poisonous....and CO2 levels are rising rapidly! But please, don't take my word for it: At what concentration does CO2 become toxic to humans? | PSI Intl
So what's the cost on this fender bender gonna cost your insurance company? (Which in turn costs all of us in higher insurance costs) Tesla is gonna profit more on car accidents then on sales of these overly sufficated battery on wheels, which are manufactured by workers who have PHDs!
It is going to cost MY insurance company nothing. It is going to cost the perp's insurance company something which they may or may not pass on to the perp. You know, it is the insurance company that has a massive "we know a thing or two because we have seen a thing or two" television advertising budget (which in turn costs all of us in higher insurance costs). Tesla, the safest car on the road according to the NTSB, is going to profit more on car accidents? I didn't hit him, he hit me while my car was parked in a parking lot! Very few Tesla workers have PHD's but many Tesla buyers have PHD's!
