Dear folks , I am in the process of getting a used Engine for my Prius 2011 V ( ALPHA ) , the sellers insists i change my transmission too , the Engine i am buying is 2014 Model , Can you guys advise what to consider during engine change , like Shall i swap Wiring , ECU etc , And are 2014 model better as compare to 2011 model etc ,
The entire process will be easier if you take as much as you can WITH the new engine, especially the transmission.
Sam , these are used but newer model imported from Japan , so will there be any issue regarding Moel year difference , mine is 2011 and the available is 2014 model ?
