Gen4 forum, I don't see a way to cancel the current navigation guidance on my 2018 Prius three 7.1 screen. There is a "pause guidance" but no cancel. My other navigation systems have all had this feature but I don't see anything like it in the Prius navigation manual. Any suggestions? Jerryd
In Gen 2 and Gen 3, the magic words are "delete next destination" (which you can find on the menu, or simply say to the car). The translation from Japanese didn't go so well, because people tend to see it in the menu and think "but I don't want to delete it, I just want to stop being taken there." But it turns out that "stop being taken there" really is all it means, and really is all it does. If you Pause Guidance instead, the destination is still set.
On the Touch 2 with Go system on my 2016 Gen 4 there is a red 'stop' button on the right side of the touch screen, which comes up with a menu choice to cancel the navigation.
Press the three dots button at the bottom of the vertical button bar on the right, then the Stop button (looks like a Stop sign). EDIT: GreenJuice just beat me to it
Press the hands free button on the steering wheel and say "cancel route" Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Gen4 forum, I've discovered that during navigation guidance I can click on DEST at the bottom of the screen and "DELETE DEST" pops up on the upper right of the screen. When click on it it only stops the current guidance. Should say something like "STOP CURRENT DEST" Jerryd
