C1259 - HV System Regenerative Malfunction C1310 - HV System Malfunction P3193 - Fuel Run Out P0A0F - Engine Failed to Start P3000 - Battery Control System I installed a battery that I just rebuilt, all modules measured 8.2V. I used the ProLong battery charger to make sure it load balanced correctly. When I turned the car on it ran for about 4 seconds, threw the codes listed above and shut the engine off. Naturally, I added 2 more gallons of fuel to be safe. Cleared the codes and the same thing happened. The battery I took out was a rebuild that I did only a month prior. I tore that one down finding corrosion build up happened quickly to this battery. I am posting pictures following the blue wire with a black stripe. It has a large wire connected to it as well.
Another note.... My second rebuilt battery does not have the corrosion on the battery assembly board. I did notice all the modules at 7.6V except 1....... at 6.4V. I will replace that cell and try again. Gus//
Change out that board with known good unit first. No point in using a board with terminals corroded like that.
