I was thinking the announcement would come later to keep the suspense in the air longer, or may even do a give away contest or something :D

Also, not today but last week, installed BeatSonic shark fin antenna and an eBay roof spoiler, same as the one recommended by @Pancakes on Page 839/840.

I feel for the prius no matter what kind you get it's a really subtle mod. I forgot I have one all the time

It is never in my plan to remove the washer nozzle and do a wiper delete, so I can’t get the spoiler low. When I test fit this (would do a return if it isn’t fit properly), I found sitting it higher to the top hatch line looks cleaner then in the middle of that space. Too many lines, I figure, if I’m to set it in the middle... So I mounted it around a 1/4 inch from the front edge of the hatch. Below is an illustration if I was to mount it toward the middle.

I’ve been messing with my headlights and daytime running lights.
I made it so my DRL’s are on at “ready”, so they stay on when the headlights are on with a simple fuse box wire mod I found on here.
Added small additional DRL’s and black plastidipped them so they aren’t as bright. They’re hardly noticeable in the daytime when the car is off.
Unsure how I like them. Technically illegal, since I’m pretty sure you’re only allowed 4 lights on at a time in the front in California.

I'm thinking you might mean the engine splash guard part and not the whole car. I'm pretty sure that this is the correct part - if anyone knows differently, please post or otherwise let me know?

51443-76020 - Genuine Lexus COVER, ENGINE UNDER

    Lexus Part Number is 51443-76020

Pictures of this seem to be few and far between, but there are some diagrams:

There are several other bits that are specified to go in the same general area on the CT200h that may or may not fit on the Prius. For less than $50 shipped to me ($30 part, ~$20 shipping), it seems like a worthwhile gamble to just get this piece and order anything else that might be needed later separately. I may even check with my local Lexus dealer, although I'm sure I'll get some strange looks.

@RightOnTime , thank you very much for the information, it was extremely helpful.

@RightOnTime and/or @MPGRaja, could you please do us all another huge favor and let us know which other Lexus CT200h parts fit on a Gen III?

To be completely honest, it’s not worth it. You’ll end up spending over 200$ brand new for something that makes barely, if any difference. And you can’t even see it lol. I’d rather spend the money on something else o_O

OK, maybe I'm missing something. The main plate is $50 shipped. The Lexus price seems to be very similar to the Toyota price for the equivalent part. I'm not sure just where the extra $150 is coming from - are there that many other parts required? If so, do you know what they are and will you tell me, please?

I also need to factor in that this part on my 2010 is fairly seriously banged up. I know no-one can see it, but it's still bothering me knowing that it's in such bad shape. Additionally, I think having it rip off the car while I'm doing 70 on an Atlanta highway would be a Very Bad Thing(tm). So the question for me is - how much extra does it cost to use Lexus CT200h parts to replace this as opposed to Toyota Prius parts?

There are two pieces of the complete part. So the cheap price is one of the pieces. The bigger piece is the expensive one.

I might upgrade later to the Lexus even though my current OEM is in great shape. If you’re interested in the OEM one, maybe I can pass it on to you for a good deal.
