2019 Facelift - production dates or ordering dates?

    I’m in the market for a new Gen 4....

    Wondered if there are any clues about when production will start, or ordering will open for the 2019 facelift cars? Local dealers know nothing... or aren’t telling.

    I’m in the UK.

    In the U.S., Toyota began taking orders from fleet customers for model year 2019 Prius cars on October 1, 2018. The revised pages for 2019 models in the Repair Manual and other service literature (more info) give December 2018 as the starting production date. I imagine this is for regular series production; one of the press handout photos, presumably of a prototype, shows a certification label with a July 2018 production date.
