I wouldn't spend a dime on an electric pickup truck unless it could go 250 miles. It would also still need to be able to tow my boat up and down all those hills on the way to the lake for a tournament.

It may work fine for all those people that think they need a truck though.

    Looks like another toy.

The closest anyone has come to my idea of the perfect electric pick-up is probably this thing. I would like to see it scaled up slightly and made highway legal, but other than that it's done.

It is expected to have a 15 minute charge time, 300 mile range and 500 mile range option. The point of making this truck is for it to have same towing capabilities, the specs are in the link. If you gave the company $10k now they guarantee you will get $16k off the truck when it is on the market.

    Vaporware.
    Napkin drawing.

More unrealistic performance and production goals than Tesla.
Not quite as good at financials...

The only thing more stupid and useless in an urban/suburban environment than a Ford Raptor, would be an Electrified Ford Raptor knock-off.......or?.......an Electrified Ford Raptor knock-off in a rural setting where there are less than one charging stations per county.

EV trucks are in the future, for sure.
A fairly far off future and based on a more utilitarian truck, rather than a play-pretty for insecure sexagenarians caught between mid-life crisis and dependence on 'Dedpends'......

When this vehicle is in production I have no doubts that it will do well. There will be no fluid changes, less parts that will break or needing to be replaced. Tesla already has the electric semi so why shouldn't we have a practical truck that doesn't make any emissions?

You can use the truck to power all of your tools as well. Starting price is less than most popular brand new trucks available today.

I'm excited to see EVs become more affordable and practical. It's time..

You were making some fairly good points until you got to "practical."

There's NOTHING practical about a Ford Raptor.
    Believe me.
It used to be one of two cars that I would immediately buy if I won a lottery worth more than a mil.

The other being a Dodge Challenger Hellcat. ;)

The Raptor went from being impractical to being impractical and just plain stupid when they changed their powerplant - but then it's been a pretty rough year for domestics like GM and Ford.

Somebody wake this thread back up when there are 1/100th as many Tesla trucks on the road as there are Teslas. ;)

Starting at 45k and if you invested the $10,005 in them, you will be guaranteed $16k off of your truck purchase.

Also I am interested in the $.29 per share.

I’ll say 2020 as it is at least in the future:p.

Hoping for their success as the urban pickup is a lucrative market and one I could see being popular in my neck of the woods;).

Could be the replacement for our 2010 if it ever gives up the ghost(y).

I'd guess Rivian has a MUCH better shot than this company. Being second to market is rarely a good thing unless you have a much better product.

Rivian has a moving truck and a factory. This has a CG drawing and asking for money.

If I have to put money to buy one, I think I have a better chance to see my money back with Rivian ...instead of chapter 7 letter for my money for these guys.. like so many before.
