Any way to access more of the battery?

    It may be a foolish question, but is there any way to unlock any more of our 8.8Kwh battery? I don’t recall off hand how much we have access to. 6.8Kwh or a little over 7? Imagine if we could get an addition 10 plus miles per charge. That would be super nice!

    ... but only until you collide with the technical reasons why they set aside that capacity in the first place.

    I'm sure there is a way, but I am also sure if you do, you will void the warranty. How much is 10 extra miles of EV run per charge worth to you if and when traction battery fails prematurely and not covered by the warranty.

    Warranty aside, still not worth it. Engineers thought this over very carefully, I'm sure.

    Yes; there is a simple way to access more of the EV battery for increasing the driving range. Drive in reverse.
