Is there a reason I cannot find rear brake pads for a 2008 Toyota Prius? I've checked Autozone, and O'reillys, and all of the brake pads seem to be for the front.

Does the Prius have rear brake pads? Will front pads work on the back?

The North American Prius should have drums for the rear brakes. Maybe this "pads" have another name. (sorry for my limited English)
(The European one has disks and pads.)

In the U.S., your 2008 Prius has rear brake shoes, not pads. Drums, not disks.

Yeah rear on second Gen in North America are shoes. Check McGeorge Toyo for info. Shoes tend to last a long time. Periodic contact point relube is good tho.
