It looks like the Prius prime is in for a re-design within the next year or two, and I’m wondering if this bumper skin can be able to be able to directly be attached the current Prius prime line up? It seems that the “gaping maw” is the newest trend in Toyota designer… I’m wondering if they can be applied to what we are driving now.
I have read about it. I think it looks great, but what I was asking was it looks like the bumper skin can fit right on the current Prius prime. Note how the end of the fenders and below the triple headlights seem to match right up. Toyota has a habit of refreshing their front end, but still keeping the mounting bolt pattern is the same. A 2012 Lexus IS can have a 2016 front end bumper skin bolted on and be able to have a refreshed front end without modifications. Just wondering if the Prius prime can have the same treatment.
Hiya Mendel, haven’t you ever heard the term before? I remember when I first heard it I was thinking that it was something akin to laying meat slices over the existing bumper....
