When I bought my prius back in 2013 I upgraded my H11 halogen headlights to Xenon H11 LED lights. One of the bulbs went out and when I was replacing that I made a poo poo. The bulb wasn't sitting right; I got impatient and tried to force it in and in the process ended up breaking off both the tabs. Now the bulb sits in the socket but projector light doesn't point correctly. I was wondering if anyone faced this before or knows if there's anyway to hold the bulb in the socket without the tabs. I'm hoping someone knows how to do this. I don't wanna throw away a brand new bulb.
I'm guessing glue would fail. Maybe some way to melt it back together, plastic weld. In your shoes, I think I'd just buy another, move on. Keep the old one and experiment?
