Anyone know any good salvage yards where my chances of finding Prius v parts are high?

There's nothing I need, but will be good to know for future parts.

There are auction sites for salvaged Prius v's but I will have to buy the whole car and find some place to store it and that I am not willing to do just to pick some parts.

Most "good" bone yards has a database to help locate parts.

Would anyone know if parts for a Prius V (Prius Wagon in Europe) from the USA can be used in a Prius from Europe? More specific: I need the lens cover for the front right hand turn signal (so the signal light on the passengers side). My dealer tells me I have to buy the entire kit! And charges an arm and a leg. The Toyota part # is 81511-47070. This is the part number that Toyota uses in Europe.

I found this turn signal on eBay (Autopartsgeek) for a bit over $40. The problem is that the part # in the US is totally different. The seller (Autopartsgeek) cannot tell if his turn signal kit will fit my 'European' Prius V.

Tips? Hints, comments anyone? Thank you in advance, Leiden-The Netherlands

It is likely that the European standard for turn signal lights is different than the US standard. That is why the parts numbers may be different. The only way is to verify the difference is to examine at least the photos of the US vehicle and compare it to the equivalent on your European vehicle.

The front turn signals are quite different. The units for the European market Prius+/v contain both LED daytime running lights and turn signals. The modules for north America contain only turn signals.

I looked for those for years... They were $250+ each when I gave up and went with LED fogs as DRLs.
