My adult son and I went skiing yesterday, and got the MPG of 66.8 with one charge at home. From home to the Boreal Ski Resort was 165 miles one way with about 7000 ft elevation delta. Temp was 38F to 60F, DRCC set to 68 miles/hour, mostly HWY driving on HWY 99 and 80. What an amazing car we have! Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I was getting 600 mile tanks this summer. I only fill up about every 40 days lately. I got gas the second of September and filled up once after that and am still on the same tank.
About the last 65 mile uphill to the resort was 41 MPG. This was with occasional slowing down and speeding back up getting stuck behind big rigs because I was not fast enough to always stay on the left lane in the traffic. Going down from the resort with no EV range left on the the same 65 mile stretch was interesting. I gained 8.2 EV miles with about 135 MPG. My Eco score was 65 for the day, 4.7 miles per kWh, got knocked off of the score board. I love my Prime! Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
