<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(IsrAmeriPrius @ Aug 16 2006, 02:55 PM) </div> Yeah, well it's all Prii. I've posted somewhere here in the forums that I see easily 20+ Prii a day! Argh!
I'm wondering if the rate of sales will be impacted by: 1) cutting the tax credit (after Sept. 30th) or its expiration in ?? 2) reaching the limit for the car pool lane stickers issued
I see a ton of Prii in the Sacratomato area. In some ways I don't like that I'm no longer unique but on the otherhand I love that so many people are pushing the market for hybrids and fuel efficient cars instead of the damned Dodge gas guzzlers that everyone thinks they are soo cool driving.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Starfall @ Aug 16 2006, 04:40 PM) </div> I doubt either will have a significant impact on Toyota sales as a whole given the #s in which the Prius and other Toyota hybrids sell relative to the rest of Toyota. See http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2006/08/01/016769.html. BTW, I missed it the 1st time around... there's actually a 2nd page to that article. It has a list of the top 10 and their percentages.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Starfall @ Aug 16 2006, 06:40 PM) </div> I doubt it. The incentive programs from the GM, Ford et al didn't seem to impact Toyota sales. Seems people will buy them no matter what.
