I just purchased a 2017 Prius prime advanced that had 12k on it. My 2010 Prius 4 has 154k on it and is still going strong and I kept it. I apologize if this question was answered somewhere or its in the manual, but I can't find it. On my 2010 when the headlights were on, the screen automatically changed the map background to black and it dimmed the instrument panel so it wasn't so bright at night. I can't find a setting that does this. The 11 inch screen is so bright that I've been turning it off manually at night because it bothers me when driving. Is there anyway for it to dim when the headlights are on? It seems like they went backwards with a couple of things that my 2010 had that this one doesn't. Thanks.
My 2010 Canadian Touring dash looks like this: I really wish there was still at the least an option, to have a dash without the big screen. I'd also love tactile, ergonomic controls, especially crucual heating/ventilating. Neither is likely to happen.

Great to hear! I had to order my Prime so during the wait, I downloaded and read the PDF manuals about 3 times while waiting for it to arrive. I still had to refer back to those many times since after I received the car.
