I'm not seriously considering 20's on a prius but has anyone done this ? My past two sets of wheels were 19's and to me it doesn't look huge on the car but pretty normal to me. Of course anyone considering 20's on the car isn't concerned about mpg. work cr3p
I think the problem is that you need really low profile and quite narrow tyres to get the same diameter. 215/30R20 is still 1.8% larger than standard tyres.
I can see you ridin dirty on some 20 inch blades bruh.. The one that intrigues me is the 19 in the rear and 18 in the front that I keep seeing.
I think 20's have been done on a Prius. Both a Gen-2 and a Gen-3. Can't find the thread though. Basically if you have pot-holed roads, you're going to have a bad time. 19's can get away with it. And at full lock the wheels touched if I remember correctly. The difference in look between 20's and 19's is pretty minimal. The difference in application (and knowledge of it being done) is obviously in the 19's favour.
Here's a guy on YT: Code: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRpMCatTLf4 Claims to be 20in. Also at SEMA in 2010 there was a Prius with 20in rims.
I like the look of the rain deflectors on the side windows on this photo above , I have never seen ones that look as neat. Does anybody know what make they are or who sells them ?
I follow a few guys from Japan on Instagram who are rockin 20” rims (namely staddict). His original build was orange and black on 20’s and he was running hydraulic suspension. I remember one of his vids crushing an coke can. Either way, 20’s are gonna look sick on your car. Can’t wait to see pics
