You CANNOT be serious! This is right by Cerrotos Toyota. Where I got my new wiper blades. I think I'll pass.
For all you guys who yell at me for not checking my gas mileage... I checked it. Drove over to the Mobil station, and filled up when it hit 504 miles. Added 9 gallons. Hand calculated at 56 mpg on the button. That's 99% city driving and 1% freeway cruising. I just completed 85 miles on the freeway, maintained 70-74 mph. AC on constantly. PWR mode. I needed to blow out all the spiders, mice, and cat poop.
I've been thinking about that. The one issue: there's not enough "resistance". It's akin to going for a very long walk, albeit a brisk one. A hill climb, the longer the better, would run the revs up better. Akin to a stair climb.
What year is my Prius? The year is right under my avatar, on the left. The 3-Recall 2016! Wrong time to ask me about my Prius, as I'm about ready to trade in the little Disneyland Car for a big, gas-sucking, smog-belching, Ford F-150 Quad Cab. Good MPG is overrated.
I wish I could buy it for that price - I paid $1.70 per litre for Shell standard petrol - which I think is $6.44 per US Galleon.
$3.89 when I gassed up last week. Doesn't make any sense. We got all the polluting refineries right here! (Right down the street from Carson Toyota, if anybody is familiar with that area of CA.) It's not like they have to truck in the gas from Texas. I better re-think that Ford purchase. The voters had a chance to repeal the latest gas taxes and increased registration fees, and they failed to do it. So all electric car owners will now be "penalized" an extra $100(?) for driving a clean gas-saving vehicle. Not sure if that extra fee affects hybrid cars. I will know in January.
I'll need to check on buying by the boat-load You selling the organ in the attached picture or just dreaming?
Yeah, the US audience may understand which way it's ridiculous, but the rest of the world, not so much.
Woops - I'd pasted what I thought was "$6.44" - after converting it online to galleons from litters. But the piccy I'd sent to a friend a couple of minutes before came up - which I deleted from the body of my post, forgetting it's still an attachment. No - it's not mine - it will just fit through my door (2mm to spare), but I think has a minimum of 8 external speakers - which won't fit. I'd have to put 3/4 of the speakers outside .
To be honest - I've not noticed any more zoooooooommm-ness with premium on my PRIUS. Unlike some other cars I've owned. Certainly didn't make any l/100km difference - just 10% dearer for nothing. In fact - the difference with E10 is either none, or so small that it's impossible to quantify. My suspicion is that because it doesn't lug, nor spin to high revs - and that a percentage of driving is EV anyway, it's not as significant.
