I've been all over eBay looking for something that's close to original equipment (my personal preference) but haven't found anything that's affordable (under $400). Any suggestions?
OEM alloy's on Car-part.com range from around $100-$175 each in this area. You might be able to find a local yard that has a complete set and would do a deal on them.
Have you already expanded your search to include Scion XB rims? Scion rims for the Prius C using the stock tires... | PriusChat I have a set and think they work well on the C. Unfortunately, Import Tire Company no longer sells them. This ebay listing is for a single (well scratched) wheel, but shows the 7-spoke pattern: Wheel 15x6 Alloy 7 Spoke Fits 04-06 SCION XB 24015 | eBay
Thanks so much for the info on Scion rims. Those look STUNNING! And your little "C" is the same color as mine. Woo-hoo! Now, hopefully, I can find Scion alloys and can get those old steel wheels off the car.
If Discount Tire is an option, they have a good deal for whee and tire packages on Black Friday. I got 15" alloy wheels with 195/60 tires with the same deal on the 4th of July for only $500 out the door after all the rebates, and it was a huge upgrade for the look and handling of the car.
Thanks for the replies. I am really yearning for some new wheels. I also need new tires, and hate to mount them on these steel rims.
Have you thought about plastidipping your current steelies? You can get any paint color you want, just about.
