Anyone attempt this recently, was trying to use the method below on my 2010 since the new wheels I got don't have sensors and was never a fan of that annoying light anyway. Tried jumping as described below but had no success, any advise or am I doing something wrong?
Not sure on that jumper trick. I have a trick I am using but requires you have 4 working TPMS units. Physical pressure causes a reading so I have one in my glove compartment in a binder clip.
Do you guys need that light out to pass an inspection? Otherwise, I would just ignore it. And check your tire pressures regularly, of course.
No, not for inspection it's to preserve what little sanity I have left and don't wanna tape over it knowing that little bastard is still on. My new wheels don't have sensors btw.
