How the heck did you get a car with metric for everything except temperature?

I think they changed the units.
What is that 0 mph to the lower left of the speedometer?

I think it's the dual speedometer for US cars. Mine does the same when I switch to metric. Do Canadian cars show km/h in that little box when switching to Imperial units?

I agree. This little oversight on Toyota's part drives me insane.

We just took my wife's Two in for the J0T (wiring harness) recall, and they mentioned a software update. I'll find out this afternoon if that fixed anything. I'm sure it's a 0.00000001% chance, but who knows. I'll report back when I find out.

I had mine in a couple of weeks ago. No mention of a software update, though.

It was released yesterday. I have to take my Two back. I had the J0T done last week.

It was something to do with the radar activating the brakes in a car wash, unfortunately.

Perhaps no one has found it quite bothersome enough to spend $225 or so (U.S.) on the Canadian version of the meter circuit plate, as I suggested in post #2, and discover if it works. (Reading out the firmware and creating a .CUW file is left as an exercise for the reader; bonus points if you change the readout to kelvins.)

I'm curious for anyone with a 2020 model. Have they changed anything yet, or are we stick with what it shipped with?

I believe there is a part to be changed but I'm not sure which? Someone might be able to give us a specific name.

It's not under setting or in Carista.

This thread started because of an issue with early 2016 Prius corrected in March 2016 manufacturing date. Your 2017, like mine, can be changed.

Wait, you can change the temperature display settings? If so, that would be great! Do you mean just a change in the settings menus, or is this the hardware swap someone mentioned awhile ago?

You can change between miles / kilometers per hour & fuel economy units. Not sure about temperature.

Does the display have enough digits for that? Or is the bonus only available in very cold places?

You tried the idea mentioned in post 31 here? That is the best guess.
