2010 Altima Hybrid gas engine won't start

    The hybrid battery is fully charged, but it will say the HV battery is dead. I will then wiggle the power wires connected to the inverter and then the car will come to life and show battery. Then I try to start the car, it will turn on only in EV mode. The gas engine will try to turn on, struggles, and never turns fast enough to actually start it. It The light with car and exclamation will be on, the triangle light will be on, and the check engine light will come on only while I drive in EV mode. The code that comes up at that point says: Hybrid system request MIL to be illuminated.

    The inverter water pump is also bad, and are working on replacing it. When I disconnected the power for the water pump, it came out of limp mode.

    This is a new hybrid battery, I've checked all the fuses, and it's all good on that part.

    Any help at this point is appreciate it.

    Just guessing, but if wiggling connections makes a difference, perhaps M/G1 can't draw enough power to spin the engine up to start rpm.
    I'd check wire connections, clean off any corrosion, and tighten up the loose ones.
