C1247 with detailed dtc 181 . any help on this plz.

    Hi. I got 2nd gen prius. 2009. With 316k miles . I have now vsc abs and red brake light c1247 via techstream which is for stroke sensor. I Erased the dtc c1247. I did the memory reset and did linear solenoid valve calibration. The lights goes away. Everything runs fine untill after driving for like 100miles . The abs lights pops up at dash.. the braking becomes hard you all know. Is it the brake sensor issue. I got inf value 181 for this c1247 code. Please help me with any info on this. Recently i replaced front ball joint and did alignment .

    Though there are 9 different INFs for C1247, an INF 181 doesn't appear to apply.

    Which OBD2 reader did you use, or is it possible you could've made an error when transcribing?

    Were you able to log any other DTCs before clearing?

    hi the problem is fixed..
    it was probably due to improper calibration of the sensors done . the steering was not straight when I did some calibrations and the codes were not erased as well. I followed the steps to do zero point and yaw rate . steering angle..linear shaft and got no abs lights so far. thanks for help.!
