Is the 2016 the same as the 2018 in the Two, other than TSS-P? I mean is the 2016 at the two a good car, as much as the 2018? I can't find a lot of difference in the visual specs on PriusChat or elsewhere. Thanks for advice.
The 2017 Two got TSS-P & rear seatbelt lights/warning. The headlights were also improved for less glare. The 2017.5 added Safety Plus as standard. Early 2016 could not be switched between MPH & KPH. I am pleased with my 2017 but wished I had the added safety features from the mid-year refresh. Most all used 4th Gen Prii need the wiring harness safety recall performed to either better protect the harness or replace if damaged.
I've looked at the safety features, but I keep thinking, I've driven cars for decades that had none of those features and was fine. I'm not sure I get it. I like the backup camera, but the new stuff so many cars have don't see useful. OTOH, I could probably get used to them like the backup camera.
4G Prius Features & Specifications (2016-?) | PriusChat Open the Excel spreadsheet, look at the 2017 and 2018 tabs at the bottom. In each tab, it lists the options and pricing for each model year. It also lists the differences from the year before. (near the "Colors" section)
You may want to check on the Toyota owners site to be sure it has had the wiring harness recall performed. If not a dealer can do that for free. They just retaped my harness after inspection. Toyota has not yet sent out the letter on this recall.
