Dealer near me has a used prime. Wouldn't a new one be cheaper with the tax credit? Used Toyota Prius Prime For Sale Madison Lake, MN - CarGurus
That’s why it’s been on sale for 124 days. I bought my 2018 Prime for ~$10k less than this one is at used. Maybe they are expecting to sell to someone unfamiliar with the rebates/incentives or subprime credit who otherwise wouldn’t qualify for a new car? iPhone ?
You would think. Primes are not plentiful when you get inland. I found that out when searching for an Advanced.
Minnesota is not the place to buy a prime. I flew to Portland and drove one back and saved a lot of money. Not only does Minnesota not have many they don't like to discount either.
Must have sold, ad no longer there. I just bought (yesterday) a used 2017 Advanced + paint + all weather mats + body side moldings. Although it is a 2017, it's only been on the road for 8 months, has 4k miles and my price was $26, 516 before taxes/fees ($28,107 out the door). It also had never been registered so I have the 2 yrs Toyota maintenance - just like new! Like most, I had to travel to another state to find it. For me, I couldn't see paying (financing) $32k+ and then waiting to see what it would amount to on a tax credit which would prob put me back at $31k but with higher monthly financed payments. Make sense? I think I got a good deal.
congrats, sounds like a great deal! how could it have been on the road for 8 months if it has never been registered?
It was owned by the dealership, used as a loaner when people brought theirs in for service. Never had to be registered.
Wow, if it is he really got a deal. My 2016 Prius was two years old when I bought it but only had 35 miles on it. The 2018's were out when I bought a 2016.
I would check to see if any tax breaks apply, if it wasn’t plated some or all breaks may be available from your state or even federal level
I have a 2017 certified Advanced for sale with 20782 miles for $26,599. That car is priced to move right now. So yes, it sounds like you got a good deal =-)
