Something looks different on this Prius. There was no window sticker, so I don't know if it's a 2 or 3 or 4. (But not a Prime.) I like the new color of the wheels, and no plastic pieces. All solid. And the front & rear facia is different? There is also a long piano black shiny trim piece that runs the full-length of the lower body sides. (Not an add-on.) You can see a little of it behind & in front of the wheel. It actually wraps around the entire car. Looked good. Don't know if all that stuff is accessories! Is this a 2018 or 19?
That accessory package has been available since 2017 MY. There is plastic on the wheels - it's gunmetal grey painted instead of silver painted.
Those are part of the Appearance Package. It’s a pricey option too. 2016 Prius 4 Touring IG - LowGen4 Megan Racing Coilovers Niche Targa 18x8
That's what I thought, at first. But I banged on them, and grabbed it, and it's solid allow, or steel. Ok well, thanks guys. I like that appearance package. EDIT: But I may be confused, too. I slid in & out of 100 cars and trucks. Man, the new 2019 RAV4 Hybrid looks great. Looks bigger. Coming out this winter. It was roped off, so you can't get near it.
Good thing our auto show is in the spring - the hybrid will be out by then and possibly be part of the green test drive event.
I was at the Orange County, California, auto show, right by Disneyland. It's fairly small. Heres the new Rav-4 Hybrid. The BIG auto show is in Los Angeles, starting November 30th. 10 days. It's huge.
No. The Europeans gave it 52mpg but that's on the old NEDC cycle and not the upcoming WLTP cycle (which will be closer to the EPA). Using their Camry Hybrid's mpg as a scale, I'm projecting 40-42mpg combined.
Nope, if you want your Prius 2 to look more sport less granola. Maybe, if you bought a Prius 3 Touring with the appearance package and you feel you pay twice for the 17" wheels.... Anyway, I don't regret it. Period.
