Hello, I have been trying to buy a 2018 Advanced and for some reason, the dealers are hard to deal with. Either the car is not available, they traded in in at the last minute or they are very greedy adding all sort of accessories to the price and reluctantly taking it off when I object. Layers of negotiating tactics. Any thoughts on this? Thanks, Mike

Try Hamer Toyota or Tustin Toyota. They will have the best prices. You can email their online sales department, no need to negotiate
I wouldn't go to Hamer Toyota. When i went there, all their Primes have mark up of $1500. Carson or even North Hollywood toyota. But i got mine from Tustin. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I just got a quote for a 2018 advanced- $35,700 I'm going to counter with $33,500 + the fact that the '19s are coming out in a few weeks.. Great news is.. the Altima is running great.. so I can walk if he doesn't want to deal.. Thoughts???
Thank you all. I was finally able to make a deal and I got the Advanced in blizzard pearl. Love it! I got Toyota $1,500 rebate and Costco $1,750 discount but nothing more. Somehow they dropped the MSRP by another $900 not sure what was that for so I didn't question it. Considering the disappointing experience with other dealers in Orange County, this deal was very good.
Thanks. One of my favorite spots out here in central California. Lots of twisties and little to no traffic. Was nice in the Prius but more fun in my other car. iPhone ?
From Toyota Place. They are stiff but they got me the car I wanted while about 10 other dealers gave me fake promises, bate and switch, skyrokcting options etc.. They called me Thursday morning to inform me they got the car. I go there and saw the car with the plastic sheets but they couldn't find the keys. They apologized and said to come back on Saturday and we'll have the car washed and ready for you. I go in on Saturday and to my surprise the car was traded in. Furious, I walked away but they said they will find me another. Sunday morning, I got a phone call that they have a car for me. It ended up to be the same model and color but a more recent production. Relief!
