After I fully charge my 2017 pruis prime advance when I check how many miles I can possibly get in the charge management section of the entune app it shows 32 miles. Then when I get in the car and back out of the driveway in the car it shows only 27 1/2 miles. Does this happen to anyone else and why is it doing this? Thanks.
Are you comparing range without AC and with AC on? If you have AC on your car your range displayed is a few miles shorter.
@Salamander_King is right I've seen this many times. Easy to prove. Charge the car to full. Get in, start it up with the A/C on (or off) and look at the estimated range. DON'T move. While still in park and in ready mode, switch the A/C off (or on) and watch the estimate immediately change.
