Just wondering if our Chinese friends have released one for Prius V? I see quiet a bit of Prius C specific android systems but none for Prius V. May be Prius V is not a big markiet..

I'd like one that is friendly to all OS formats. Why not friendly to all?!

Let's not forget sticker price should not be more than the car payment, IMO. After all, one still has to get it installed, pay for taxes, and deal with what to do with old unit.

Well, In-tune was intended as all OS friendly but not worked out so far. The reason I am mentioning android is that's the OS environment is now choice of 10.x" Chinese units as the software development. This is to fill void for Prius models between 2012 to 2019.

IPhone interface is more towards leading brands with 7" units.

Thanks and so very true about how Entune simply doesn’t cut it - no matter which OS imo.

I look forward to learning more about the new ones you’re talking about.

iPhone has what percentage of the market? Android? What of those users are in the Toyota price range buying population? What of those users are now not buying cars being the urban young workers?

What should Toyota be developing an interface for if it want to exclude the least number of potential buyers?

Instead of Entune, why not interface and apps to provide brand/model specific functionality? Seems to me the development costs would be lots less.

Toyota is offering Apple CarPlay not Android Auto. I heard the reason was Toyota did not want to send all the data to Google for their own use.

Would love to have this headunit, this is in an Prius Alpha G. No clue on where to find it though, only one that looks close to this is one that's made for a camry.
