I am beyond happy at this time. We have caught Trexis insurance in a few lies!!!!! I have paperwork and affidavits to prove it too! They contacted me Friday, told me they were totaling out my Gloria. If they took the car AI would get $5100, if I kept the car I would get $4200. Well, after arguing about KBB and their own assessment, I told them I would decide later, I had to go to work. On a whim I went to the shop where Gloria sits waiting and talked to the owner. He was surprised by the email saying they were totaling the car, he was told to fix it. He had already ordered parts! I asked him how much to repair and he told me $3400. I told him to go ahead and do it, get my Gloria fixed for me! I then called Trexis and told them I accept the total offer but I keep the car. They finalized everything ans payment was arranged and came in about 24 hours ago. I went to my bank when payment was direct deposited, pulled out the $3400, paid the shop, and was told he will have it ready and done a week from today! The other lie we caught them in was the condition of my Gloria. They stated, in official paperwork, that my car had mold in several places in the interior, multiple tears, holes and broken equipment. Not one item on that list was accurate and I now have photographic proof! I will file with the BMV for modification of the title status back to clear title once I get it back, based on the total offer they submitted as well as the extensively inaccurate assessment made on my car. I will post pics when I get my Gloria back!
G-L-O-R-I-A ...Gloria We just had some body work done on ours, and it is beautiful car now again. Maybe we should trade in while it is looking so good.
