Who has put side window deflectors on? Stick on or channel?

Was reading about the auto-up feature not functioning correctly with these visors. Truth?

 

The only time I have had the auto up feature to reverse is after having the windows cracked open in the parking lot at work and the car is hot inside. When I roll the windows down to let the heat escape and then roll them back up, the first time they will reverse and second time they will close.

All other times will auto up with no problem.

 

ive got the AVS deflectors and love them. i had them on previous vehicles as well and they performed perfect on all of them. never a leak and look great. i got them from jcwhitney for $40 shipped.

the in channel deflectors do have a "cleaner" look IMO, but its such a small difference. i have read where some users have problems with the in channel type, but ive never had them. im sure either are a good choice.

 

After about two weeks now, I have not had any further problems with the auto-up. I guess it took some time for the weatherstripping to adjust to the added thickness of the visor.

 

Hello BigPete, Love your wheels, what is the manufacturer and they look like 17".

 

every find out what those wheels where?

 

Any thoughts on the Wellvisors brand visors? Looks like channel clips as well as tape.
