My car is turning heads... and by gauging their expressions, they aren't admiring my ride. There has been a *click click click* noise going on for about a month. I can roll the window down and hear the noise bouncing off of nearby buildings, it's pretty loud. Yesterday, I put the car in neutral, jacked up the right side and spun the wheel and took the video below. Is there a good step by step guide with images to replace the cv joint? I have searched this forum and google as well, but have not found any.
Sorry about the video, it should be working now. I'm an avid DIYer. I might have taken my vehicles to a mechanic once or twice in my life, for a weird electrical issue. I've never replaced a half shaft though, but I'm sure its nothing I couldn't tackle on a Saturday.
