hi all i hate Toyota dealers. they are bad for my wallet. I need a really good mechanic in north jersey Paterson/Clifton area. someone that knows 2 gen 2004 prius. the last one i went to for brakes he was amazed when he saw very complicated brakes (probably cause of regen brakes) not like any other Toyota any suggestions.. thanks a lot.
There is nothing special about the Prius' brakes at the wheels. The only extra thing you have to do is make sure they don't pressurize while they're being worked on. All the regen stuff takes place inside the transaxle.
actually i need to check my prius for some rattle noise ( sound like a bunch of door keys when you shake them or some metallic parts are loose) that comes from front right side every time I run over small bums or rough roads. thanks for your answer
