If the tires will need replacement, use that as a bargaining chip and reduce the purchase price by $300. Allocate $1500 for a new traction battery and have the Seller help out with that. If the 12V battery is more than 4 years old, plan to replace it: $150 Plan to replace the fluids. I bought mine with 225,000 Miles and now it has about 260,000 Smiles. I recently took my 2009 on a 7K Miles and had no problems. I was towing my motorcycle and 3 adult passengers. I had to add a little oil every 1,000 Miles. Enjoy your car. Simba
