Apparently my 2009 Prius has no Bluetooth Audio mode. I have an iPhone 6 which is registered on the Prius. I want to pair my Bluetooth audio on the iPhone with the Prius so I can play Spotify. I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. Can it be done?
Because my 2009 Prius hadn't Bluetooth but I wanted a hands-free and an USB port, I've bought the Zemex 3.1 interface. (ZEMEX V3.1 Bluetooth für Toyota (ZXV3TO1)) The small box has to be connected to the CD changer port. Then one can use the interface as a hands-free and for music via USB or Bluetooth.
I bought a Bluetooth device for the car that goes into the Aux port. I would suggest also getting a noise suppression choke. The Aux input is quite noisy on these cars. This is the one I got. It works well. Good sound and mic inputs. And works with Google assistant well from my experience. And it reliably auto reconnect with the phone when I get in the car .
